I thought you really did like me as you asked me out on my very first special date.
For me it was pure happiness, but on that night my heart would slowly turn to hate.
I thought you were sincere with me and you really wanted me in with your crowd.
Your words and laughter cut like a razor and you told me my crying sure wasn't allowed.
I didn't know I was a silly joke to you and to your ridiculous small minded friends.
For all of my humiliation you pray for forgiveness and to make all of your ammends.
I want you know I do forgive you and my family and friends I stand strongly beside.
You have to know that you did not break me and I will continue to hold my head high.
